Whyfore you on Helium? You sound like Foamy... ^_^

Heh. Pot calling kettle black much on the "cardboard cutout" models? Get back to work on Nimbin.

Author's Response:

Thats what Gregg the Grim Reaper sounds like in Conkers Bad Fur Day...youve never played that game? ;o;

submission: Gib Mir Deine Hand
date: April 10, 2005

Heh. Doing as the instructions state and completely forgetting all the other productions you've done and liberated these shorts from ^_^

You're one of the best frame by frame artists I know Sqeez. This shows just how varied you can make the process, and how much work you've actually done in the past few years. it's a very good showcase video.

Now, let's see something new my scary German friend.

This review pleases me good. <3 I just feel in love with you.

SFVS Episode #1

"Swanky"

submission: SFVS Episode #1
date: April 7, 2005

Very cool piece. Definately could have been longer, but is very cool nonetheless.

Best bit of it, strangly enough, is the Newgrounds Intro animation. Looks very cool and you'd probably get some mondo respect doing larger animations with that at the front.

Author's Response:

I do have another submission which is 5 minutes long with that intro... but it wasn't well recieved I guess... This is suppose to be short, as short as possible... hence "Quick Releases" of hatred (mostly towards my boss). Thanks for the review.

"Solid Piece"

submission: the sixth page

Very nicely done. Very artistic. Nice display of your skills and animation quality. Wasn't animated to an exceptionally smooth standard, but is still phenomenal for the level of detail. Bit slow in places, and could have been trimmed a bit methinks.

Let's see more from you of this quality!

Thursday Short

"Stale"

submission: Thursday Short
date: April 4, 2005

Animation and graphical ability shows talent, and the fact it flowed at least half as well as it did shows you've got some skills, but the joke was stale and the whole thing itself was short and only came into being at the end.

It was a nice show, but I don't see it surviving on the Portal. Keep on animating though, maybe something longer with some more humour value will keep us entertained

"Good try"

date: April 4, 2005

Well, considering it's not more than the startDrag and stopDrag scripts, It's not too impressive, but it might be something to work on and create something like a Flash version of The Sims.

Until then, it's not much better than a poor dress up. Keep on trying.

Heartache

"Average. Shows good potential"

submission: Heartache
date: April 3, 2005

It wasn't animated as much as I would have liked, but it shows talent and style. Quite impressed with the rain effect and the monochrome colours. Very artsy, if it wasn't for a lack of animation where there should have been.

Improve and learn, and come back with something fantastic for us

Author's Response:

Thanks, I hope that in the future I will be able to put more animation in my work. I agree it definatly could have used more.

"Very cool"

date: April 2, 2005

Nicely done stab and clichebreaker.

Not much in the way of animation, but it didn't need to have any. Drawings were good and the entire thing flowed well. Unlike most people your voice actor and sound dubber know what they're doing with people shouting into the microphone.

Well done. Hope this gets a good score

"Target Practice"

"For the next person"

submission: "Target Practice"
date: March 25, 2005

Okay. My reviews mean nothing here. This submission is getting enough attention as it is. But if you ARE reading this, please remember somethings.

Regret denied this was foreshadowing last October. He knew the difference between fantasy and reality back then (according to his review responses. Thanks to Rubberninja for pointing that one out to me), and probably chose his method of execution to leave his unique mark on the universe.

He was not a "nazi" or a "freak" as some people have pointed out in these responses. He was just a poor kid on medication with a depression and access to guns - not exactly rare in America is it? Please, show a little respect to him, and to the guys who want to try and clear up any controversy between the links between him and Newgrounds. Don't shout BLAM THIS or ask Wade for it's removal - it won't solve anything. He's dead now. End of story unfortunately

Been waiting for one of these for a long time. The scrollable fight slider and the kill counter put something interactive back into mass combat movies, and the timing and violence was impeccable. Congrats.
