Design for the ever perennial personal website aren't going well at the moment. While a template exists, actually making it conform to a technology I've never had to handle before (CMS systems in general scare me, but Wordpress is downright intimidating sometimes) makes the process a bit less fun than it should be. Normally it feels like pulling teeth...
So I'm looking for a WYSIWYG theme editor to get to grips with all the WP template ridiculousness. And so far the search is coming up poor. Is it too much to ask for me to design a barebones framework document, plunk in a single line of code where I want Wordpress to dump its content (Like a <!--PUT THE POST HERE--> tag...), and then tweak as I see fit WITHOUT having to change the files on the server?

It's about two months until the NGUK3 meet, and I'm not looking forward to it. Oh don't get me wrong, I want to go, and I'll definately be there, but as I've mentioned time and time again, everyone in the General forum scares me. I dare not moderate there, as most of my mod time is done at work.
And the general number of people going to this thing is now, from what I can see, numbering in the high double figures. What do you do with that many people? The past few meets have been us crashing at Namco Station on the South Bank and generally having a laugh, playing dodgems (or for those old enough to drink, having a quiet pint and laughing at me and my teetotality).
I also hear tell that there's grafitti and fooball (soccer) involved. I am as suitably underwhelmed by this as I am by dELta's parkour hijinx. To be honest, I might just stay in bed.

Do not talk to me about Flash work. Do not ask me how work is going. Do not make eye contact with me. It's just that good of a day
